This morning I felt impressed to pray this prayer; for every person who has liked the BetterOffRead.com Facebook page, has logged in as a user on this website or has corresponded with this ministry through email. And if you are reading this, the prayer is for you too! Today, may new hope be manifested in your life.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for every person connected with this ministry. I pray specifically against the obstacle of spiritual amnesia. We are often disposed to forgetfulness. For whatever reasons, we disremember, overlook, ignore or fail to recall the countless instances of your faithfulness to us.
Remind us this day of the times you provided, healed, refreshed, encouraged, emboldened, inspired, comforted, restored, reconciled, strengthened, supported, reinforced, affirmed, consoled, improved, invigorated, cheered, revived, assisted, aided, nurtured, promoted, delivered, fed, arranged, prepared, protected, supplied, granted, bestowed, furnished, endowed, enriched, cured, answered, directed, instructed, rehabilitated, rebuilt, rectified, resurrected, mended, repaired, transformed, renewed, helped, nourished, sustained, reassured, imparted, enlightened, promised, fulfilled, created, cherished, calmed, dispelled, sheltered, undertook, lavished, shielded, safeguarded, defended, sacrificed, forgave and saved.
May our praise rise to you as we acknowledge your goodness and mercy and remember with grateful hearts the amazing things you have done, are doing and will do. I ask all this in your son’s name. Amen. LH
