For some years now I have felt prompted to share about the amazing experiences I have encountered with the God of this universe through His amazing Word, the Bible. Personally, God has used His Word in my life to teach, encourage, comfort and correct in such timely ways, that I can only describe it as miraculous. I truly believe that EVERYONE who reads the Bible is better off! Well, as the Bible puts it:

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

What this website is not:

This Website is not an apologetic on the existence of God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Christianity or even the accuracy or inerrancy of scripture. Links for resources that deal on those subjects have been provided. Also, to make you aware of the viewpoint of this ministry, a statement of faith has been provided.

What this website is:

It is a place to encounter God through His written word. Its mission is to encourage people to read, study and  enjoy the Bible. We want readers to consistently connect with the awesome creator of this universe and come to know Him in deeper ways. Think of it as a campaign for Bible literacy!  To borrow from Nancy Reagan’s cause, “Just say know!” May our goal be the same as the Apostle Paul: “I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection.”

To facilitate this mission, this website will be a place where anyone can come at anytime to study the Bible. Links are provided for online Bible translations, Bible study aids and Bible reading plans. In addition, I will provide a weekly blog/devotion on Monday of each week which will be accompanied by a 5 day Bible study on the topic of the blog. Your thoughts and comments are always encouraged. If you prefer more in-depth studies, links are provided for studies that I recommend. LH
